Protective services

In case of emergency call 911 and the appropriate emergency response team will be dispatched.  


Police: 


The Town of Norquay is served by the Kamsack Detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.


Kamsack Victim Services operates from the detachment. Their 24-hour phone service can be reached at 306-542-5577.   


Fire protection: 


The Town of Norquay has partnered with the Rural Municipalities of Clayton and Keys and the Village of Hyas and to establish the Norquay & District Fire Protection Association. There are 20 volunteer firemen who have the appropriate training and equipment to fight fires.     


Duck Mountain Ambulance Care Norquay Division: 


Duck Mountain Ambulance provides 24-hour emergency and non-emergency service from its EMS base located in the Norquay Fire Hall. The ambulance unit is staffed with Registered Emergency Medical Services personnel, with back up services provided by the main ambulance base in Kamsack, SK.


Norquay Emergency Measures Association: 


The Town of Norquay is a member of the Sturgis and District Mutual Aid Emergency Measures Organization which has 10 members. The above two organizations, which provide cross protection for the Norquay area are locally coordinated by an Emergency Measures Organization Coordinator appointed by Town Council. 


Councilor Kevin Ebert is currently appointed to this position.
